Today, Ceylinco Internet Services has its points of presence (POPs) in Negombo, Kandy, Kurunegala, and Matara via a franchised arrangement with its business partners. Whilst investing on the infrastructure to deploy services in these regions, we have also played a key role in disseminating the know-how and skills to its people and are determined to continue doing so, despite many obstacles faced with the infrastructure facilities. Plans are underway to put up similar POPs in Jaffna, Anuradhapura, Bandarawela, Nuwara-Eliya and Chilaw in the near future.

In operating the remote POPs, we have successfully partnered with two companies offering them a franchised business model. This model has so far worked extremely well in all aspects of Managerial, Technical, Financial and Operational issues. The two companies are viz. Golden Key Institute of Computer Technology and IDM Computer Studies.
